It is GO TIME for me! Surgery date is Sept. 5th! Woo hoo! I have been so busy that I have not had a chance to try out protein powders and shakes. I know these have been the topic of many many postings, but I was wondering if I could get everyone's opinion on their favorite powder or shake, and where they were purchased. Thank you in advance for your help, I am feeling a little overwhelmed that I am not completely prepared this close to my date! Can't WAIT to be a Loser!!!! We are here for you when you come back and have tons of questions. As for the protein, I use Six Star from wal-mart... It's 15.22 a container... it comes in chocolate, vanilla, and fruit punch. I have not had the fruit punch, i like both the choc and van... I use vanilla daily because I can make it in all different ways. There is a file that has a folder of protein recipies, let me know if you need help finding that. Best Wishes and we are looking forward to sharing this journey with you. Guest guest Posted August 28, 2006 Report Posted August 28, 2006 Six Star is cheap and yummy from WalMart I like the vanilla I liked the sampler basket from bariatriceating.com I also like Raodside Lemonade (although apparently I could get some slightly used, but cheap from others LOL) I deink it with lots of water, more than the directions call for or sometimes add crystal light raspberry for a raspberry lemonade treat Quote
