Bluewillowlane (sorry... don't know your name)....

One thing I know is true for some of the kids..... sometimes the prescription

anti-fungals have the effect of encouraging the yeast to come back stronger than

ever once they are discontinued. By any chance, were you on any antibiotics back

when this all started a year ago?

I highly encourage you to stay on SCD, but you might need more professional

guidance. I assume you're under the care of a good naturopath (or similar

professional) that is fully educated about SCD?

You're still really at the beginning stages of SCD at only 4 months in. It seems

like some of the foods you're eating might be a little too soon.... such as

the kiwi (unless you're straining out all the little seeds?).... and the melons

(you're eating them raw, right?). Might be time to take a step or two back and

give it more time.

Have you tried any natural antifungals?

adults on scd

Wondering if any adults have experienced my problem? I started with

intestional gas 1 yr ago, since then has built up to severe gas, burning all

inside

abdomen, chest everywhere, burps, flatulence, big weight loss. Have had every

test possible, inside and out. Have tested very low to gluten intolerence, do

not have GERD, but am doing SCD 4 months now, see no difference. Just wanting

to see if any other adult has these symptoms. Am also very sensitive to

medications, they usually have an oppisite effect on me. Also have mitral

valve

prolapse, so all this constant gas pushing in my chest has affected my heart.

Have suffered with intestional yeast for 12 years, that has been kept under

control with Sporonax or Diflucan or Lamisil but now have trouble taking

those.

Any info is appreciated.
