Guest guest
Our GSDL kit told us to concentrate on several areas of the back of the scalp. If you can look at the back of the head and imagine a tic tac toe pattern...you get the idea. I have no idea how much .25 ounces actually is, but their web site states that's how much it takes. BTW, It's been often repeated around here since I've joined by many to make sure the test is Hair Elements test done and not the Hair Toxic Elements test. http://www.doctorsdata.com/DEFAULT.HTM [ ] DDI sample I have ordered a DDI hair test for my 5 year old son and am waiting for his test kit to come. However, today he gave himself a " creative haircut " when left alone with the scissors so now I have to dash up to the hairdressers ASAP!!!. Can someone tell me how to take the sample for the DDI test so I can put that aside before I get all his hair cut off to cover his new bald patches. TIA. Guest guest
The sample needs to be taken as close to the scalp as possible. Use a stainless steel scissors. Save only the inch or less closest to the scalp. Take from several different spots. The best area to take the sample from is behind the ear and backwards - sort of like the hair that is the ring around the head for the baldest of men with male pattern baldness. Put it in a clean baggie. Folks - Anything I forgot?
Guest guest
OK, sounds reasonable. Do I wash his hair first or doesn't it matter? Thanks. Guest guest
You can wash his hair and then make sure it is completely dry before you put it into the baggie. There is a place on the form to fill in the name of the shampoo that you used. [ ] Re: DDI sample OK, sounds reasonable. Do I wash his hair first or doesn't it matter? Thanks. Guest guest
They want an ounce (they send you a little paper scale), best from the nape of the neck, the inch closest to the head (most recent growth). If he has hair longer than that, cut off (and discard) the end pieces and send just the inch closest to his head.
