Guest guest
Hi Dawn, I am still on liquids. Hopefully today he will put me on real food. I have been walking on occassion and doing a lot of housework. It has been kind of cold out, so I haven't walked as much as I would like. I will be at the meeting tonight? Are you going? Marla RE: Pre Op testing Hi Marla, Did I read your mail correctly you are 8 weeks out and down 16 lbs? Have you talked to the doctor about this? I don't think the fact that you are not exercising should stop you completely from loosing... I am 3 months out. A typical day of food for me is as follows: Breakfast - 1/3 C low fat Cottage Cheese and a piece of fruit, tea with milk Lunch - Salad (lettuce, celery, carrots, cheese, egg) with fat free dressing Snack - fruit, pretzels or peanuts Dinner - Small portion of what ever I have cooked for my children, anything from a 50% fat free hot dog and a vegetable, to lasagna, beef stew, Shepard's pie, etc... Snack - Saltines with 6 oz 1 % milk, or a yogurt, popcorn, wedge of cheese, Popsicle, etc... I drink about 64 oz of water a day.... Guest guest
Hi Dawn, I'm down 24 lbs. I guess that's alright. They think that that's fine. I can now progress to the next stage. Thank God! He said that I should be walking 2 miles a day/3 times a week. I'm going to honestly try to do that. Thanks for your concern and all of your help. Were you at the meeting last night. It was a good one!!! Marla RE: Pre Op testing Hi Marla, Did I read your mail correctly you are 8 weeks out and down 16 lbs? Have you talked to the doctor about this?
