Yes, I have a good feeling about this. I am better just being reassured that

it isn't ILD. If that is all he does for me, I will be thrilled! This guy

(Dr. Gold) was older. Maybe in his 60's. Very nice and well spoken. He

seemed interested in what I had to say.

It is weird though, because as he was asking me things like how long have you

been short of breath or had trouble swallowing, etc....I have to think and

quite honestly can't remember exactly when all of it started. I told him

that it seemed that I just started living with and becoming accustomed to the

way I was feeling so I never really noticed....do you ever feel that way???

Anyone? I haven't felt good for so long, that I didn't realize some of it

was not right until I started doing more research and realizing that 'wow you

aren't supposed to feel like that???' or 'that is not normal???'.

And what do you say when someone asked you " How long have you had PM? " . I

was dx in Dec. of 98 but I know I started having elevated cpk as far back as

94, so what is the answer to that question???

Isn't it cool to have everything in the same building? When I was with

Sharps, I had to drive across town just for an xray. It was the pits.

Plus, when you're really sick it's not a good thing to put me behind a

wheel. Dr. Stupid didn't realize just how lucky he was to remain " a

whole " doctor after a few trips I had to make..... lol

I do hope the smile and the " Oh Good " meant he knew the doctor and that

he was good.... Maybe this guy is a new Fellow at the clinic... They're

go getters!
