We would play in the barns and anything that we could to make things happen, we didn't have tv just radio and played outside in the winter or summer. My dad always had a big garden and we would have to work in there but boy was that food good. thinking of grammy pats garden Hmmmmm. Went to the farmers market here this morning and got a bunch of stuff so will be cooking up some veges. Hope you have a good weigh in Clara. Guest guest
Yeah, I love lighting bug (aka fireflies, flutter bugs, glow bugs) there are so many names for them. I remember how skinny I was chasing them toooooooo. You should see the June bugs around my house, they look like B-52 June Bugs and feel like them too. Better have your mouth shut when you go out. We have scorpions also. And Yes, we have snakes too. Rattlers, copperheads, moccasans, chicken and grass that I've seen. I like snakes though, they eat the mice and rats!!!!!!! That reminds me.... About a year ago, we (the whole family) started missing underwear, socks, panties, bras and small shorts. Things just started disappearing. Well, I do my laundry in our outdoor shed, it's almost as big as my house. Anyway, my husband and I were cleaning it out. Needless to say, we had a lot of stuff in there, my mother's furniture, kids stuff.......and a cedar chest, some foot lockers and between the cedar chest, and foot lockers were three large rat nest all with neatly folded socks, underwear, panties bras and shorts. A REAL "PACKRAT"!!!!! I bet he had 2 laundry baskets full of stuff. YUCK it stank bad, we threw it all away. No need in washing rat urine, I don't think you could have got rid of that smell. So stop thinking that your dryer is eating your socks, there's a rat somewhere.
