OOPS==Please disregard my previous post. I hit enter by mistake...LOL

Daisy, I don't have dizziness on a daily basis but I have had severe

bouts of dizziness. So severe that I could barely get up to use the

restroom and lasted for 5 days. I have been thru all the tests,

blood work, Ear Specialist on numerous occasions and they find

nothing wrong. I do believe it is related to the Lupus. I have to

go by that until a doctor tells me otherwise. I can remember my

first episode being back in the early 90s. I wasn't even diagnosed

with Lupus until the fall of 2002. I would go see a doctor about it

though. There could be an underlying problem which causes your

dizziness. Hope that helps. Take care.

Joyce, Without seeing your history, and without a medical degree, it would be impossible for any of

us to tell you the answer to that question. Dizziness is common with Lupus, but there are so many

other indicators, as well. It would be a good idea for you to read the articles available to the members at the ITZARION website listed on the Lupies main website. You will find a checklist of

symptoms there along with tests, how to read the results, etc. Let us know what you find out from

the doctors. Hugs, MM

Joyce..

dizzyness could be caused by a lot of other factors other than lupus ..

low blood sugar

low blood pressure

inner ear infection

sinus infection

anemia

Meniere's Disease

some neurological diseases

medications ..

your best bet is to contact your doctor and tell him your concerns..

tell him when your dizzyness is the worst ..

do you get dizzy when you stand up suddenly?

how long does it last? minutes? hours?

does it happen if you turn your head too fast (like looking in both directions

while driving)?

there is so many things it could be ..

and yes .. Lupus does cause some dizzyness ..

especially if the nerves are involved.
