Then we shed a lot of tears, say our good-bye's and she goes to heaven to wait for me. It's always a tough call though. You can tell if a dog is in a lot of pain by the color of their gums... white means there in shock or pain. Of course, Pooh is Chow so her gums are black along with her tongue.... She's doing pretty well tonight. Took her stroll over to the next door house to sniff there dogs nose, then she came back home. I'm getting ready to feed them right now.
