Guest guest
i've been taking the methx injections for over a year now. I haven't had any of the possible side effects at all except for maybe hairloss. i say maybe hair loss, cuz i've lost some hair, and it's gotten lots thinner, but i THINK it started before the methx. personally, i'd much rather take the injections than the pills cause i have a swallowing problem, and pills are hard for me to handle even the small ones. but i've had no stomach problems at all with the injections. lol - stil cant give them to myself though - i'm a big chicken - I don't remember who it was but someone said not to long ago they were going to begin taking methotrexate with a needle. I just found out I have to start doing that. I've been having lots of stomach trouble. I want to know If it is really better this way.. I'm saying prayers for you. Be strong miracles happen.. Just this weekend my mother had a stroke and she is weak, but no real damage was done. She is now staying with me. I keep telling that between us both we would make one well person. It seems like when I get things settled in one area of my life something else kicks up. Oh well as long as I am not in the hospital. Guest guest
My hair starting thining after I started taking it too. For the first month my stomach would get sick after taking it, I take the pills, but it was fine after that. My hair is starting to come back thicker though. And for the longest time I didn't even have to shave my legs!
Guest guest
Hey, my dad use to take the shots and I gave him the shots. His hands couldn't do it, he has RA real bad and my mom was too chicken too. The first time I did it, I was really nervous, don't want to hurt dad! But it was easy after that. Guest guest
thanks everyone for sharing your experiences with methotrexate. I don't feel so nervous about the shots now. These pills really make me sick. Lonewolflinda I live a lone way from you. Big Foot is about 45 minutes southwest from San , Texas. Can you believe it we are also included in the " snow " alert. I can hardly wait. I can remember when I lived in San and we got 13 " it was great. I know everyone who is snowed under is willing to ship us a ton of snow, but we have terrible summers. I used to love it and stayed tanned all the time. I lived at the swimming pool. Now I run from the sun and if I stay out there even covered in lotion I'm sick for a week. So I live for the mild winters here. I really hope it snows. My grandsons ages 9 and 7 and 10 months have never seen snow. I'll let you tomorrow.
