Schamroth's test or Schamroth's window test (originally demonstrated by South African cardiologist Dr Leo Schamroth on himself[2]) is a popular test for clubbing. When the distal phalanges (bones nearest the fingertips) of corresponding fingers of opposite hands are directly apposed

(placed against each other back to back), a small diamond-shaped

"window" is normally apparent between the nailbeds. If this window is

obliterated, the test is positive and clubbing is present. http://www.bookrags.com/wiki/Clubbinghttp://books.google.com/books?id=3YESiYdTIOgC & pg=PA22 & lpg=PA22 & dq=Schamroth's+window+test+picture & source=web & ots=23wrmOc8Pu & sig=5LwWNAt89HZrjJyRRk7GixUjk_k & hl=en & sa=X & oi=book_result & resnum=4 & ct=result#PPA23,M1 P PM (Polymositis) 12/98, UIP 8/00, o2 24/7 9 LPM 8/04, PH 3/06, ILL yo 60Subject: Re: I JUST POSTED 3 PICS IN MY ALBUMTo: Breathe-Support Date: Friday, August

Lou,

Sorry but it really doesn't look like your nails are clubbing, unless

the photo doesn't show to much, here is link that show hands that do

have clubbing of the nails...

Your hands look great.

Take care,
