Guest guest
I think I have some problems in my guts, possibly caused by yeast and bacteria. I've read some info on it but seem to have a bit different opinions on the diet. I would like to know to avoid overgrowth of yeast and bacteria, can I eat Rice, Potatoes, Fruits, Banana, Tomatoes, Tofu, and pork? I know I cannot eat bread again. Thanks a lot. Depends on how pervasive is the yeast. I have info here http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm Some people can just remove sugars, others need to remove carbs and starches, other need to remove both, at least for the beginning. I use GSE for my family. Dana
Guest guest
Have you read up on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD)? It's designed to speifically address gut issues. You want to starve out the bad bugs, so avoid starches (NO rice, potatoes, grains, corns, etc.). Vegetables and meat, and some fruits, are OK as are nuts and nut flours. You can start at www.pecanbread.com.. > > I think I have some problems in my guts, possibly caused by yeast and > bacteria.
