Guest guest
Maybe this is a dumb question, but are there any types of recipes that I can make in my bread machine?? Guest guest
I make jam in my bread machine. Just check the instructions for your machine, but for mine you put the cut up the fruit and honey in the bread pan, set it on dough cycle for 5 minutes (I usually cover the top with foil so I don't end up with a sticky mess inside), press stop, remove foil, and set it on bake for the full cycle. I works really well and doesn't burn. My son doesn't like it chunky so I let it cool and then run it through the food processor. It's also good as a syrup for pancakes and waffles. Guest guest
Hi Joe, Did it by any chance come with a recipe book? If not, no problem. Go online and find bread machine recipes. I just use a whole wheat recipe…if the recipe calls for other kinds of flours, I just substitute whole wheat and almond flour. I love the resulting bread…and it has no preservatives. So, shelf life is very limited. (about 3 days) Maybe longer if refrigerated. It also needs to be in a sealed baggie as it tends to lose moisture. Have fun experimenting! in Maine Subject: Bread Machine I bought a bread machine at a thrift shop for $5. I figured if it doesn't work, it's only $5. Does anybody have any SBD friendly recipes for one? I've never used one, so please treat me like an idiot. It's a breadman plus if that means anything.
