Guest guest
I have no idea what's going on. I have tried to post this twice today. If it don't show up on the board this time.......well, I give up. My dear ladies, please allow me to apologize for being so insensitive about mentioning the gorgeous weather I had last Saturday. I promise I didn't mean to rub anyone's nose in anything.....honest! Gosh, I was going to tell you what a beautiful day Sunday was. Temps around 72°, sunny and slightly breezy but I'm not gonna do that. I can sympathize with you about the freezing temps I know you are having. Brrrrrrr I have lived in Buffalo, Rapid City and Cheyenne.....I know cold! Why do you think I moved to Florida? My Momma didn't raise no fool! Hey anytime you want to come down. I have a great big tent I can pitch outside and a nice clean port-a-potty. Come on down!! Today had potential for being another nice day but alas it is raining outside, it is only 55° outside and we have tornado watches so I stop my nonsense and wish you both and every one else a nice day. Warm hugs...... Karol
Guest guest
Hi MM, It's nice to hear from you! I hope you're feeling well this evening. I like temps around 75 with low humidity. The sun don't bother me but I always try to keep covered and use sunscreen. Sun causes to many wrinkles and I don't need any help in that area. I think March is my favorite month because it is so colorful here. The Wisteria and Azaleas are in full bloom.....it's just a beautiful time of year. October can be nice after a very hot summer but it's still hurricane season here in Florida. As a matter of fact, we had a really bad hurricane by the name of Opal in October of 95. Opal's eye went right over Crestview. Very scary storm! I don't do well in cold weather at all, it hurts, always has.....even when I was a kid. I really feel for everyone that is experiencing all the nasty cold weather right now. Hugs... Karol Re: My Apologies Barb & Hey, Karol, I love cool, crisp weather, so October is my favorite month of the year, but since I can'tbe in the sun, I prefer it overcast, and wear a hat. I can't stand anything over 80 degrees, but anycold temp. that is dry and crisp, I like it. Guest guest
Yes a C, you are a very kind person by not mentioning your heat wave! But......I'll tell you, right about now, I sure could use some of that heat. My weather bug says it's 26° right now. Shades of Wyoming...... hugs.... Karol Alright Karol, you and I are starting to have an awful lot in common here! Where did you live in Wyoming? My sister and I were raised for six years in a little town called City. It's right about an hour from Lander. Then when that mine shut down we moved to Hannah. That's about an hour from Laramie. We lived there for three more. Then we moved here to sunny Az and this is where I am planting myself! a c
Guest guest
We were stationed at F.E. Warren AFB, that's in Cheyenne, for about two years. It wasn't what you would call a dream assignment! We got transferred there from Guam, would you believe. Can you imagine how cold we were after living on a tropical island! We brought a dog back to the states with us, an Irish Setter, who didn't like the cold either. Poor Baron got so cold his legs would begin to freeze and he had a hard time moving until he warmed up! I thought I was going to have to carry him back into the house after our first snow. LOL Fraid I'm not familiar with the places you mentioned in Wyoming. But if I had a choice, I sure would take Arizona over Wyoming any day! Hugs... Karol Re: My Apologies Barb & Yes a C, you are a very kind person by not mentioning your heat wave!
