Guest guest
Hi I too have BU and am currently 21 weeks preg from IVF. I had one mc in 2001 which was not caused by my BU; that pregnancy was an IVF pregnancy also. To my knowledge I have never conceived on my own (I had a suspected mc when I was 18 but it was never diagnosed). My subfertility is caused by my fallopian tubes which are slightly abnormal ie twisted so the sperm can't get through hence going on IVF! I know a lot of women here have BU and have not had much trouble conceiving. I wish you all the best tte BU or SU: How many m/c and how many months ttc? Hi - I'm a lurker - appreciating the fantastic information you all provide - as well as the collectively good spirit. I am 28 with a BU and not quite ready to ttc, but I'm trying to get a feel for how long, on average, it takes for a BU or SU to conceive and also, on average, how many m/c you've had. Until I started doing some research on this condition, I just assumed (!!!) that as soon as we ttc, we would be within a 6m timeframe. Now, I'm wondering if we should start earlier than planned... I appreciate any feedback. I have a BU and have been ttc for a little over 2yrs now with no luck. I also have mild endometriosis as well. I have never been pregnant. I'm 28 and otherwwise healthy. I think our next step is IVF. We sought out a fertility specialist and he did the laparoscopy which diagnosed my BU and endo. My husband and I did start ttc earlier than planned because I knew I might have a problem. I'm glad we started ttc earlier than later. We think our infertility is related to my endometriosis at this point. Hope that helps. Take care -Ellen

Guest guest
Hi , I'm a small U ttc 5 years, 3 m/c, no successes (yet!). I just wanted to chime in with mho... TTC can be a very long journey - months between treatments, lots of waiting, lots of frustration so my opinion is to get started as soon as you are ready of a baby without any unnecessary waiting. You just don't know how long it's going to take and the older you get, the harder it is... at 35 a woman's fertility starts to decline making the while process more difficult. Also, when you do decide to start - chart your temperatures religiously! Because if you don't get pg naturally, you may need to see a specialist & a specialist will need to see your charts/records to start treatments/diagnosis. If you have no idea of what the heck I'm talking about re: temperatures, feel free to email me or check out: www.fertilityfriend.com, there's lots of good info there on how to improve your chances of getting pg on any given month. Good luck! na > Hi - I'm a lurker - appreciating the fantastic information you all > provide - as well as the collectively good spirit. > > I am 28 with a BU and not quite ready to ttc, but I'm trying to get > a feel for how long, on average, it takes for a BU or SU to conceive > and also, on average, how many m/c you've had.
