Abbott/Medisense no longer makes, sells, or supports the pen

meters. They say the batteries aren't consumer-replaceable. They

used to swap dead pen meters for new ones, but now they'll only swap

for something else. I'm hoping someone on the list has figured out

how to replace the battery. It's a great meter. Not the fastest,

but still the smallest, 10 years later.

I even tried ebay and a place in england that has lots of other

medisense products. I couldn't find it. What are the stats on the

battery and doyou have pictures the insides of the meter and the

battery. maybe with all the heads in the group we can figure it out. At

worse, it gets messed up and you have to buy a new meter which you would

have had to do any way.

noticed Abbot has another Pen-type :
