I haven't heard anything.

I did see a pic of the Richmond VA area where Gaston had done alot of damage and there was a huge sink hole in the road...I mean HUGE! There was a mini van and a car down about 15 feet below the surface, and they just looked like toys in comparison to how big the hole was.

what a day

We had 41 tornadoes here today. I cannot believe it! There is a lot of damage statewide, but noone has been killed, thank God. I've been trying to reach my father in Georgia to check on him, but the phone just rings and rings. Did anybody hear anything about Columbus, Ga? I'm skimming my mail and it looks like everyone on the list is ok. I'm so glad. Fonda

Fonda, Columbus did ok and seems to have just gotten some rain out of it. It came through here and then turned Northeast towards Atlanta. THEY have a mess about like ours here.

Why did I never know your dad was so close here? How often do you visit? We go to Columbus, Ft Benning, often.

I'm glad you guys are OK. Hurricanes are bad but much more predicatble and easier to prepare for than tornadoes. Those scare the jeepers outa me!

Hang in there.
