Guest guest
, I read your post on Acreta risks and the higher the risk you are then a C-section would be wiser to have than a vaginal birth. My OB is encouraging me to go vaginally at this stage. I am so hesitatant about this and I don't know whether to pressure her to let me have a c-section. Obviously I would prefer a vaginal birth due to the quick recovery rate, but, I don't want to take the chance of acreta and then hysterectomy. Before I fell pg, my lining was 3.5mm. My OB told me it looked like a desert inside. I am now 35 weeks and have had a healthy pregnancy with no bleeding. I will have to do something real soon. What do you think I should do? I really don't know whether to take the risk or not? I have had a scan recently that said the blood flow from the placenta through to the ubilical cord is flowing normally and if the placenta was not functioning properly due to acreta, there would be abnormal amount of blood flowing through. I am scared and confused. I hope all is well with you and your family. Milinda
