Guest guest Posted July 21, 2005 Report Share Posted July 21, 2005 My doctor has me taking Altace (rampiril) to prevent heart and.or kidney problems due to my type 2. My A1c ( first since being Dx'd ) is 108 (6.1) which is pretty good. I just wonder if anyone else's doc has them on this stuff in spite of the fact that their BG is under control. Makes me feel wonky and my BP sometimes dips to 86/61 !!!...i can handle it but i'd rather not if i don't have to.My normal BP is 110/65 so it really doesn't need lowering.
