Guest guest
Last I heard from Robbin was last Monday evening and the conversation was cut short (they terminated it mid-sentence) I have been trying to install a backbone into my lawyer, *his* lawyer emailed MY lawyer with some "concerns" they had, namely that I am incapable of taking care of Robbin (BULL SH*T) and that (and even if this WERE true, it would be past and not relevant) they said I lived in an "assisted care home" again, BULL SH*T!!! Never happened! They assisted me with RENT, not with LIVING. GGGrrrr. Don't get me started again.... ~*~ Akiba~*~ ~*~Pragmatic Visionary~*~ The World revolves around the Sun My World revolves around My Son -- Update time Okay everyone! Guest guest
Uh-oh, now look what you guys have done. Seriously though, I've been going to physical therapy twice a week for 3 weeks now...I think its helped alot with my pain. My sacroilliac joint is where it should be and has stayed " in " for a little over a week now. Its getting less and less painful as time goes by and considering I've had this pain for over a year, I'd say thats a win. I spent all day today (8-2) at my kids school in the library. I decided I would try to at least volunteer once a week. So today was my first day at it, went pretty well. I must have gotten up and down 100 times (off the floor) to shelve books. I put 3 carts FULL away...whew..that was a workout. I really like libraries though, the time flew by. The last hour was a little rough but only because the school went into lockdown and the kindergarteners were scared. But we read them stories quietly (lockdown protocol-the quiet part) All of us huddled in the corner with the lights out reading in whispers. Guest guest
Hi Sharon, We are doing pretty good. Chuck has some sinus issues. Everytime he coughs or sneezes he gets a terrible headache. The nurse told him to use Saline spray and also irrigate the sinuses. I am doing pretty good. Just some issues with my fibromyalgia but it could be worse. Guest guest
Well, yesterday I received my official termination notice from my employer.. knew it was coming, they couldn't go on indefinitely without having the extra support in the office. I knew I wouldn't be going back to the office as long as there were stairs involved, and it required climbing the stairs at least once a day, sometimes way more than that... BUT.. I have not been idle, at least not completely, and I might actually end up making more than I did working there.. just so long as I don't go over the alloted amount of income for Social Security purposes.. I'm doing data input at $3 an entry... depending on my concentration level and things I can actually accomplish finishing one in about 13 minutes.. some take a little longer.. And I'm usually doing over 10 a day.. the problem with that.. I had 2 entries around 10 this morning.. then didn't get another until 3:30... they came in pretty steady until 6 p.m... then I waited until 8:03 for the next one to arrive.. Of course JUST as I fired up a game to play rather than sitting here twiddling my thumbs, or trying to find something to read online.. There really isn't much going on.. trying to move around a bit each day.. some days are harder than others.. but I keep trying.. Television has got to be about the most boring thing on earth right now as well.. can't wait for the season premieres in a week or so... That's about it on this front.. thought about writing a book.. but I can't think of anything to write about or a plot to the story.. LOL.. still might try.. Guest guest
Sharon and Everybody,I'm so tired. I talked with my son, Marcus this past Sunday. I asked him when he was coming home. He said that he's predicting it will be Sunday or Monday of this week. I told him that he had an appointment on Wednesday so he really should be home by Tuesday at the latest. He said that his dad wanted to take them to the Chelan County Fair on Saturday. Did I tell you all about this already? I can't remember. I'm so upset about this. Marcus has been gone for 4 weeks. I miss him so much. I don't like to talk with my ex because I get too angry with him and I end up hanging up on him. I don't like to do that but it's hard to be calm when he's acting like the antagonist. He is a manipulator. He's never been physically abusive, other than he's shoved me off my feet one time years ago. He knows he's in control since Marcus is up there right now and he knows I can't go up to get Marcus without having somebody drive me. It would be nice if my ex could be mature about this and tell Marcus that it's time for him to go home.. I have full custody of Marcus. But, he's 15. He's also autistic. I don't know if he's happy up there, I can't hear it in his voice. But, his father, as of the last time I talked to him, still doesn't believe Marcus is autistic. I can file contempt charges against him. I can also call the police and let them know that Marcus is in a kidnap situation. But, here's the thing: I don't have as high of an income as my ex. Also, his wife's parents both work for the the United States Postal Service. They have a good income. My ex could buy things for Marcus which I can't afford to. His in laws can do the same thing. I'm sure it would be tempting for Marcus to want to stay up there because of the material things he can get. I can't compete with that. But, my middle son was a couple years younger than Marcus when he decided he wanted to go live with his dad and stepmom. He was up there for 8 months when he was ready to come home. Only thing is his dad wouldn't let him. I just wish they still lived in town. It would be easy for me to go get my son. While being a single parent is challenging, I think I've done pretty good. I did not rush into another relationship the way my ex did. Donna in WA

I did not rush into another relationship the way my ex did. Donna in WA

Guest guest
Hi Donna. I am so sorry. Is he back home now? I sure hope so. Arghhh! Sounds like my ex. He either calls drunk terrorizing me or tries to play nice guy. I dont fall for either. I think your son should be with you. I have several autistic nephews, they are younger but I know when they are taken out of there element and routine it makes life alot more difficult. Hopefully he will be home in time for his appt. I know how you feel. I cannot drive and it really makes things alot rougher. Me and my fiance are not doing well. So I have to find a car soon and make it accessable. Just in case. Life can be real rough. We gotta all hang in there or here together. hugzz cassy Re: Update time Sharon and Everybody, I'm so tired. Guest guest
Hope you feel better . Lots of hugzz cassy Re: Update time Uh-oh, now look what you guys have done. Guest guest
Hi Cassy, It's hard to keep up with messages. I just found your message. My son called right before 5 pdt and said that they had just got in the car and were leaving. He said that they'd be here in about 1.5 hours. My son is enrolled in the alternative high school. I'm going to have to call the school to see if we can have a meeting with the teachers so that they can explain the school to Marcus. His choice for school, right now is to go to the high school or go to the alternative high school. He's been gone for over 4 weeks. I'll be so glad to have him home.
