First let me explain .....yesterday I ended up in my ophthalmologist's office. I thought I was having an Iritis flare but my doctor didn't see any inflammation. What he did say was that my eyes were very dry and I need to use drops to keep them moist and he wants to see me again on Friday to make sure an Iritis flare isn't brewing. Just my luck, my doc is going out of town next week. My question........is this how Sjogrens begins? I hope not since this will make it more difficult for me to recognize an Iritis flare which my doctor considers an emergency. Hugs.... Karol Re: a B.: Vitamins Hi a B......Do I understand you right........does a multivitamin make you sick? You know, every time I try to take a mulitvitamin I feel like s**t! I end up laying on the couch feeling like I'm gonna have a heart attack or something, my heart begins to beat so fast. My husband thinks I'm crazy.......I don't think he believes me sometimes. I had never heard of this happening to anyone else! I will never take another multivitamin again.....ever. My GI doctor told me I needed to take vitamins and he wrote me a script for a prenatal vitamin. It did the same thing to me! hugs.. I've had a dryness problem with different body parts, but I've also been on big time diuretics for a very long time now (about 15 years of so) and I like to blame it on that. When I asked my rheumy about that a while ago he just said to use moisturizers and lubricants. I would have to wash in them to change.
