Guest guest
It is so good to hear from you. I am so sorry about Elf....but glad that Pippin will have a new roomie soon. Congratulations on finishing the house. I would love to have been a little mouse in the wall to see the look on 's face!! Take care, keep in touch as you can, and I hope you are able to enjoy your inlaws visit this weekend. Do not overdo. By the way, how are the girls? We are fine. The kids are off to a better start this school year. With the eq today in CA, it makes me wonder what God might have in store for Oregon tomorrow, lol. It is a full moon or close to it..... Hugs and love, Melinda
Guest guest
Glad to hear your girls are doing so well. Kathy Re: Chris Thanks, Melinda. I miss Elf terribly; but, time will heal thatsome. -- no I didn't name her, and I'm going to change itif she doesn't know her name well [many racing greyhounds don't]-- will be arriving on the 23rd . . . which is none too soon forme. Pippin spends all her time sighing and looking pathetic; shewon't even run in the pasture any more. claims that 'overdo' has got to be my middle name; pushingthe envelope seems to be my style. I'm getting better, though;at least I see the wall before it hits me in the face these days.Jessie and Bob are doing fine in law school. They've [wisely, Ithink] decided not to have kids until they graduate. They'llcome up here at semester break; current plans are for them tostay with HIS family; which is fine by me -- I'll still get tosee her lots, but won't have to have overnight guests. Lexa isspending this semester in Semester at Sea; next semester in theCambridge Scholars Exchange Program. [Pretty good for a kid wethought might never make it.] We'll see her briefly as shetransports from Hawaii to England at semester break. Bwtween thetwo of them, we've gotten an 800 number for the phone callsbecause it's the cheapest way to go. That, and athousand-minutes-a-month plan for Lexa's cell phone means that wehear from them both several times a week. [Although, I swear toGod, if Lexa doesn't get her time zones straightened out, I'mgoing to KILL her. 9 pm HER time is 2 am for us.]OwensMelinda Hohenberger wrote:> > > It is so good to hear from you.
