with my T-shaped uterus (the fetus died 2-3 weeks ago). The RE

thinks it was chromosomal because all of the supporting structures

developed normally. My RE doesn't want to perform a D & C unless

absolutely necessary because she feels that it could potentially

cause more damage to the uterus. If I were your friend, I would

choose the wait and see approach. With T-shapes, the probability of

getting pregnant and staying pregnant is fairly unknown. Each uterus

is a little different. Some are tall and narrow, and others are

short and fat. I doubt any doctor can predict 100% how each uterus

is going to respond during pregnancy. Just the fact that your friend

got pregnant is awesome. If I were in her shoes, I would definitely

choose the risk of staying pregnant and probably miscarrying over

voluntarily terminating the pregnancy due to an unknown outcome.

could die and then he would have to perform a D & C, or did he actually

mean he would have to end the life of a fetus? From what you said,

it sounds like he would actually end its life, but she might want to

clarify this.

ask the nurse about this next time I call in to the office and I'll

let you know the response.

successful, peaceful pregnancy.
