Guest guest Posted October 1, 2004 Report Share Posted October 1, 2004 Dear Friends, Just a real quick note to let you know that the volcano has erupted and that it basically was no big deal and that they are glad that it erupted as the pressure had been steadily increasing. The last I read a few minutes ago on Yahoo was that it is now considered " asleep " for the time being. I hope to see some pictures as I was gone when it happened, wouldn't you know it, and did not have the radio on. I have been up there two or three times and it is quite a magnificent sight. Bob is extremely curious about it, so hopefully and probably we will make a quick trip up there in the near future. we are about 175 miles southwest of it, I think.
