Guest guest
I have family in Orlando and Bradenton....I hope they are ok.. Re: nasty weather Warwick's helicopter is in a hanger. The forestry guys were nice enough to share theirs. Luckily Ocala where it is did not get much wind. Probably about 30mph I think. I think the images of the planes you are seeing might be the small regional airport near Orlando...I saw that on tv a minute ago. Now I am waiting until daybreak to call my Aunt Betty. She lives in New Smyrna Beach which was, from what I saw when I went to bed, right in the path. The news has not mentioned that area yet except to say that it hit hard. I reallly can't believe we have power. Everyone around us is out of it. DawnJane Hutchinson wrote: Dawn, I hope your helicopter is in a safe place. The pictures I just saw of an airport somewhere on the Western part of the state had the little planes stacked up on top of each other and basically the hangars all destroyed. Please becareful and don't take any chances...the little tornadoes spinning off this hurricane are numerous and one of the reports I just saw had a lady call in and said that all thefor using the bathroom. sneaky suspicion we will lose power for quite some time so i wanted to say hi & hope everyone is ok. talk to y'all when its over. be careful all y'all southerners. dawnPlease visit our website at:http://ACES_Autoimmune.tripod.com Please visit our website at:http://ACES_Autoimmune.tripod.com Please visit our website at:http://ACES_Autoimmune.tripod.com
Guest guest
I don't know about Bradenton but probably the Orlando ones are ok. Local news has not reported any fatalities in Orlando that I've seen. A few injuries from tree falls though. In fact, Disney opened for business at noon today.
