Guest guest
Well, I honestly don't know how it will turn out in the end. The kid's lawyer thinks it went well and I guess that she would be the best judge of things. The judge did rule that CPS has done everything and met all of the requirements to severe the rights of the boy's Mom and on Freddie's dad and all Doe's on Keyone but when the attorney generals office published on the one name Mom had listed they spelled his last name wrong! Now they have to publish his last name in the local paper for 4 weeks and then wait another ten after that for the next court date. Now here is the kicker. The sister of that man, who may be baby Keyone's aunt, showed up at court saying that she wants to take the baby. We couldn't figure out why the bailiff had come out front and told her not to speak to the Mom, who is still locked up, because it would be a felony. Then we found out it's because she is a convicted felon as well. Anyway, if they had spelled her brother's name right it would not have mattered but because of that mistake she has to be considered as a possible placement for the baby, not Freddie. Then the mom's lawyer also asked for a jury trial to contest the severance and also came up with a family friend to take the boys. So what this all means is that we have another court date in March, we will see how many times this one is delayed, and after all of this time, 17 months, we could lose one, both, or neither of the kids. a C

My prayers are with you and the little ones......hang in there!! azToy2@... wrote: Well, I honestly don't know how it will turn out in the end.
