Guest guest Posted August 20, 2004 Report Share Posted August 20, 2004 I am having such a good day! Not health wise...although it is definitely better than yesterday when I could hardly breath. But first I got the beautiful gift and then I went outside and a big white water lilly is in bloom and some little yellow ones ready to open...plus I bought some mums today. So I took some pics and will post them when I get them developed....I really hope the one of the frog sitting on the lily pad turns out, but the darn thing chose a pad that is kinda under the overhang of rocks so I'm not sure he'll show too well. I took one that showed all three frogs, one on the pad, and two on the rocks. I didn't have any plants in the pond before, but the other day my son's boss decided he didn't want plants or fish in his pond (I don't get it, he took everything living out of it, cholinated it to death, so he could see the rocks he lined his pond with, LOL....but I'm so glad he did). Anyway he sent me what has to be about $100 worth of water plants and grasses. The fish and frogs love it. I used to have plants in there but one winter (I have to winter everything in the upstairs bathtub-0--plant wise, the fish stay in the ponf) I lost everything and I just never got more. My yard is really shaping up with the pond, the porch and the deck. I'm taking pics so maybe in about a week I'll be able to post them.
