Dear Pat,

I hope you don't mind me jumping in here, but assuming you've had the

RNY (stop me now if I'm wrong), Pepcid Complete is not a good source of

calcium for you. As post-op RNY patients we need to be taking calcium

citrate. Pepcid Complete is calcium carbonate which we don't absorb.

Also, you mentioned swallowing your b-12, that it's a small pill. The

only way we absorb B-12 is sublingually (holding it under your tongue

until it melts) or through injections. Hope this helps.
