Hello to all,

We (Tricia-0surgery Menezes 3-12-02, Carlette-mom, -dad, Littla

Man-brother) are still in Iowa City Iowa.

Tricia had surgeryh on the 12th and done well and the surgery was

deemed a great success and she was release from the hospital on the 3-

17 and we went to the Mc House were we have been saying

since we arrived her in Iowa on the 10th of March......

Now the questions..Tricia seems to be having something close to panic

attacks when she is around alot of people or alot of different things

going on..We were orginally scheduled to fly home (Oklahoma by way of

DFW in Dallas) on Thursday the 20th...Tricia was still not feeling

very good and we didn't feel like she could make the trip without

alot of pain and discomfort so we changed the reservations to Sunday.

On Saturday we noticed Tricia was really antsy around groups of

people and when she wanted to go to Target(the store) to shop and

then had to leave, she was shaking and looked close to panicing(sp)

We met with the doctors nurse Practioneer today and we are taking

her off of Percocet and putting her on Lortab thinking that she might

possibly having a reaction to the pain meds causing the

nervousness......

Is there anyone that has any experience with this typr of this?

Tricia is 15 and is also getting nauseated after her meals and taking

compazine to control this as needed, here the last three days any

time she eats she get nausated and has thrown up 5 times....

If anyone has any advise or has dealt with this type of post-surgical

symptoms plaese help us out here...we would like to get home yet we

want to handle this in the best possible way for Tricia..

Help.

\

Carlette
