Isn't > there a book we can buy with the latest info in it? The books are outdated compared to the latest designs of the diet plan, but you don't HAVE to subscribe to the pay site to get the latest information -- like I said, it's all here in the file areas. There are several folks on the groups that DO subscribe and when an update comes out (like something new on the foods list) the info trickles down to the Yahoogroups pretty quick. > I know it is no-ones fault but this seems like a way for the > Dr. who devised this diet to make us pay even more. This > really seems more of a W/W way to milk the public for more > money. I can't believe that we have to pay on top of buying > the books and cookbooks. How Frustrating. I may be a bit cynical, but this doesn't surprise me. If there wasn't a way to make more money on it, they wouldn't support it. It's reasonable for the diet to continue evolving as new information is obtained and clinicals turn up better information and that's a positive thing. However, I AM of the opinion that Agatston's crew is milking the public for more money but hey -- it's the way of such things. Just stick to the groups and you'll get everything you need to know. > I am like others out there who just want something in print. > Can we have lowfat milk or lowfat buttermilk on Phase 1? Everything you need to know is there. Oh, and no -- you can't have as many nuts as you want if you're sticking to the plan (nor can you do a quarter cup -- that was never an update although many still think it is). > I apoligize for sounding frustrated and appreciate for > sharing the info he has paid for but this is getting to be a > pain in the kazoo when there is nothing printed in black and > white about what exactly we can have. You can write until you're blue in the face and it won't make any difference. I wouldn't waste the energy -- everything you need is right here on the group. Quote
