Finding a pain doctor!

I heard about the Madison Pain Clinic in Texas about three months

ago. I investigated them. I looked up ownership, corporate documents

and talked to other patients that used them. Madison passed the test

and looked right, so I finally gave them a try.

I was so distrustful when I heard a pain clinic from Texas would send

a nurse to your home to draw blood, do a work-up and a history. Then

a pain specialist doctor would call you and write a prescription for

pain medication with 6 refills. (a full service pharmacy too) They

offer hydrocodone in 10 mg and 15 mg with only 80 mg of Tylenol. I

know it is the Tylenol that kills the liver and kidneys! They will

write for up to 12 pills a day. They will fill the prescription and

overnight it to you.

The pharmacy takes care of many local hospice groups too and

understands that sometimes it takes 360 pain pills a month to control

pain. No hassles or dirty looks from pharmacists anymore.

After they did everything they said they would do, I had to call

them. I asked if they would offer us (pancreatitis members) a

discount. They said yes! Instead of the $599.00 for first visit for

a six-month prescription, it will only cost $299.00. I know it is

still a lot of money.

The cost for six months worth of pain medications for me came to

$1.70 a pill. That includes everything!! The renewal for the

following 6 months will be less or $1.65 a pill. From start to

finish it took 10 business days to get my pain medication in hand.

Madison told me their goal is 7-day turnover.

This is for legitimate pain patients only. If you take any illegal

drugs and it shows on your blood work - forget them. If anybody

would like more information please email me at mgay@...

If there is enough interest, I'll ask Mark if it is okay to post

everything on the top5plus5 site.

Only kind and friendly pain free thoughts,

Gay
