Our early intervention service coordinator told us that she could investigate other ways to come up with money to pay for 's aids if we ran out of that $5000 in the year. After purchasing the phonak aids and the fm system it turned out that we did need an additional $2000. Our early intervention coordinator was able to get the balance paid. I'm not sure how it worked but she said they have federal funds that can be accessed for these reasons. I can try to find out what the particulars are if you need it.
