I am finally going home and still everything seems to be going fine. I am continuing on Cipro twice a day to prevent infection since I have the pediatric balloon inside my uterus. We are planning on leaving it in if at all possible until the two week post op date. I am also on estrogen twice per day to increase endometrium growth, which can help some women. Dr Palter thinks that the estrogen may aid in preventing the scar tissue from growing back because if the endo can grow quicker it can slow down any areas that may try to reform with scarring. I can not believe my surgery is over and I am on my way to a healthy uterus. IT IS JUST WONDERFUL!! I also can not say enough positive things about DR Palter. He is truly someone who I feel I can trust and who I feel would tell me anything to help my condition. I know he will do his best with each and every patient because that is the sort of man he is.
