To me, the moral of the story is never to trust > just one opinion. Thank you for sharing that, Beth. I have felt a good deal of anger and frustration due to the problems I encountered due to scarring. In my own coming to terms with the mishaps and consequences, I have always chalked it up to luck, the quality of care up to the luck of the draw. It's a major relief to know that some realistic standards are being set in the courts that will hopefully someday do away with the need for some women to come to terms with the consequences of sloppy care. You've made my day. Kind regards, 36 SU resected x2 still trying

Beth-- THANK you for sharing this!!! My RE always shook his head at my 1st OB's refusal to further examine my UD. He commented a million times that I was so lucky I mc'd my first pg ... I would have had to terminate the twin in the non-viable uteri to prevent it from rupturing. I never should have been put in that position! He thought it was a crime that that OB is now the head of OB at her hospital. > During arbitration, the plaintiff was awarded $195,000. About time. Nuff said. G.
