They want to make sure you are off the pain meds first, since mostly they give you things that you aren t allowed to take if you are going to be driving. " how long after surgery can he and I be intimate again? " ~~~I was told 6 weeks by my surgeon, and my best friend's surgeon told her as soon as you feel up to it " . But you have to be careful...no wild crazy activity, lol. I was told that I could drive as soon as I got off the prescription pain meds and could stand to. Same with being intimate.
