Guest guest Report post Posted February 9, 2001 Elle, All the drs in my area seem to use prog. shots. But on the net I've only read about oral pro. and suppositories. One of my friends told me her dr used the shots because that's all her insurance would cover. Another friend who had the shots said she had never heard of the the oral or sup. Weird! I have a patient who's a therapist (kind of handy!); at first she was trying to talk me into going to a loss meeting at the hospital. Now, she's amazed everytime she sees me at how well I'm adjusting. I owe it all to this group. Just think of the hours (and hours) of therapy we get everyday! The doctors and nurses who treated me were generally good, but I felt like the tech who found ep was proud of herself, as if she won some award. My loss was just part of her job.
