One just has to request that a fresh carafe of milk is used and that the steam wands are flushed/wiped down with a fresh rag. I've only had a couple reactions to drinks at starbucks and both were made during rush times immediately after a soy drink had been made. I'm severely allergic to soy and suffer anaphylactic reactions, but I drink lattes on a regular basis. The new melon syrup for the iced green tea is NOT soy-free. ygg

Guest guest
Yep. Being aware of this and disliking the caffeine addiction (or jitters) I'd switched to using 1 spoonful regular coffee to 4 spoonfuls decaf for my pot of coffee in the morning. The random soda never bothered me. I'm feeling much better (but not completely) now that I'm drinking green tea. I did have a regular latte last night from starbucks and feel fine. I really think my problems are limited to decaf coffee. Maybe the decaf chemicals? Or process? My father couldn't drink it either, but was fine with full strength coffee. > FYI Caffeine is a natural diauretic.
