Guest guest
It will just be easier to get approval. I have thyroid disease too and it will not be a reason to not get surgery. Guest guest
Ok, I have a few questions. They have tested my thyroid and tested it because of my weight. Now that I am trying to get this surgery it comes back underactive and could be part of the reason for the weight gain and tiredness. What will that do to trying to get insurance to approve? Does anyone have an underactive thyroid and still had surgery? I know it is not the reason I am fat. I have been fat my whole life and this is just now showing up. I am probably panicing for no reason, but any little kink in the system makes me start to worry. I know the insurance company will get out of paying in any way if possible. Guest guest
Hiya, Just wanted to let you know that I have an underactive thyroid and just had surgery 1 week ago. I take 2 different thyroid medications. I don't believe the thyroid deficiency will get better with the surgery, I'll still have to take the medications, however it's going to improve my general health. Blessings!
