Guest guest
Dora, No not at all!! Yes I've lost about 186 lbs in the past (actually -next Tuesday it will be) 10 months. I'm also 5'10 " tall. It wasn't easy...but I did everything my doctor told me to...at what he said, never cheated (until recently lol) and walked at least 2 miles every day until December then I started working out at Curves 3-4 times per week and doing elliptical and stationary bike at the school gym (I'm a college student). I started out in a 30-32 (more 32's than anything) and probably a 5 or 6X. Now I'm in a size 16/18 depending on the clothes and can wear an XL t-shirt or men's M pants. The important thing is that I feel better about EVERYTHING....you will too! When is your surgery? And the only advice I will give is the same that you will hear from everyone....walk, walk, walk, water, water, water. I think my age and the amount of water that I drink is the only reason that I don't have a lot of excess skin (yet) knock on wood. T. Guest guest
, I don't have a date yet. I go see the surgeon on Tuesday for the first time. I hope to have one set soon. But it will be at least 3 months out because I have to finish a doctor/nutritionist supervised weight loss regimen first. But so far everything looks good. I am only 33 (I say only, but that is starting to sound old to me) and I hope that through exercise, water and my age I will not have an extreme amount of loose skin. If you don't mind me asking, how old are you? Around my age? But I plan on doing absolutely everything I can do to make this work. I am sure my dog will enjoy me dragging him around everywhere too. Thank you for sharing with me. I am so looking forward to this opportunity. Dora RE: T. Dora, No not at all!! Yes I've lost about 186 lbs in the past (actually -next Tuesday it will be) 10 months.
