If I remember your situation, you had a laporotomy at some point didn't you? So, it could be that you have adhesions that have gotten worse over time that are affecting your bowels, or even involving your bowels. It is not at all unusual to have abdominal adhesions that attach to the bowels. I would get this checked out. I would think that an abdominal ultrasound would be a good starting point for checking into this. I hope you find some answers soon, and good luck with the rest of the book!!
