Guest guest
I watched that movie Supersize Me this weekend, it was on Showtime. I found it really interesting, now I know that he could have made better choices at Mickey D's and the movie was biased against the fast food places but it did make a lot of good points, especially about the marketing towards kids. My almost 3 year old grandson recognizes all of the fast food places we see along the road. I have been taking him to Macdonalds once a week, mostly to play in the playground (they made that point too) and we usually have a Happy meal, nuggets with apple dippers and white milk. He dips his apple in ketchup but at least it is better than fries I guess. He also eats all the tomatoes off Granma's salad. He is so active I can't ever imagine him having a weight problem but the movie did make me think about going less often. I could not believe how the portion sizes have changed over the years, but that is true no matter where you eat, no one needs as much food as is served in restaraunts these days. If you haven't seen the movie, I reccomend it too. Hugs, Glo
