I take Kara to the ped for Rocephin shots for her ear infections and I

specifically asked if the were ototoxic and was told no. However she was

almost 4 at the time of the first shots. The answer may be different for a

baby.

Do you think Rocephin had anything to do with the deafness? Our

(hearing)son had Rocephin shots when he was about 4months old.
