No. My DHEA-S could be a bit higher. Testosterone and progesterone

provoked no comment from my new alternative doc.

I may give 5 HTP a try eventually. I'm currently just starting

nystatin, DMPS and minocycline (for Citrobacter) while lowering

Armour. I have several suggested supplements from I

haven't tried yet, either.

Thanks,

W.

Just an update - not sure it was really the 5htp that helped with

my hot flashes. Based on very recent hormone testing, I think

I may have ovulated and that is why my hot flashes went away.

Sigh - so tired of these hormone mysteries.

For those following this topic, I will update you on this months

strange phenomenon. I did two rounds of dmsa before my period was

due. And let me tell ya, I am almost sorry I did.

I got the heaviest, most painful period I have had in a long time.

I used to get them like this before amalgam removal on an every

other month basis. The alternate months were lighter, shorter, less

cramps. I was literally thinking I may need a transfusion this

time...

Since amalgam removal my cycles have been lighter, no cramps and

shorter. I could not beleive the terrible cramps I have always had

were gone finally. I usually only do one round a month for myself,

since it brings on early cycles. I did two rounds, two weeks in a

row this time. And ended up with a pre-amalgam removal type period

only magnified!

When I ordered my dmps from Falls Pharmacy, I spoke with the

pharmacist about this phenom. He was very interested and said he's

never heard of it before. I told him I belong to a list where alot of

other women were experiencing the same thing. He said he wanted to

look into it - he seemed very interested.
