Guest guest
Tonight we went to put up our holiday lights. I had just bought two boxes. Two different brands from different stores. As I was reading the box...there is a California Prop 65 warning on the back that touching the plastic coating will expose you to lead. And to wash your hands after handling. I have never seen this warning on lights in previous years. I am sure they have probably always had lead..just that finally they decided to put the warning on. In any case...spread the word..to protect anyone..children should not handle these lights...and likely adults should wear gloves.
