, although I am several years older then your son 26 here I seen

the cream of the crop nephroligist in the military. He gave me an

article from the journal of medicine that talked about the benefits

of fish oil/ omega 3 in Iga Patients the study was based on

12grams/12000 mg aday. i am currently taking 4 in morn 4 lunch and 4

night. The study showed that although there is no cure for kidney

disease it does and has proven that it will slow it down. The brand

that i was prescribed is Major by Vibrant health...the stats are as

followed per pill

1000mg fish oil

180mg EPA

120 mg dha

The omega 3 you talked about is the natural in fish oil thats why its

not mentioned its the major factor that is helping

kidney diseases/ heart diseases, joint pain, arthritis, and

circulatory issues.

Alot of body builders and are now looking into it.

The prob with using it is this $$$$$, unless you get prescribed it,

it will be a pocket altering cure. i was precribed 8 100pill bottle

at a time that last about 70 days or so... As far as the dosage...

you can not get to much or take to much the only prob is that after

taking four at once for the 1st few weeks your son will burp up fish

taste and sweat fish smell.. so my doc told to to take it slow at

1st and get use to it.. I have no probs with 12 a day now. If I can

be of any further help or lead you to the med of journal article for

the study please let me know or email me at ryrylamp@...

Hope this helps out
