Dana,

That's so sweet! It's so nice that appreciates you! So many

relationships are lacking that...

Dana,

You'll get through it! Have you considered redecorating the house? You

don't have to actually do, just spending the time pouring through magazines

can tie up all your " thinking " time; and before you know it, it will be

time to test!

Dana,

Your friend might have lost more than you but........... big but

here......... just losing the weight is not enough and just because she

lost that much doesn't mean she is losing it the right way. If she has

lost that much that fast I can tell you there is no way she is doing it

the right way and will more than likely gain it all back and then some.

It is important to look at the big picture. Not weight loss at any cost

but changing habits and lifestyle so you will be healthy and the

weight will stay off. I just posted an article last week about KEEPING

the weight off. You might benefit from going back and reading some old

posts. The thing about losing too fast is you lose muscle, not just fat

and that slows your metabolism. Also losing too fast, not eating

enough, will also slow your metabolism. The best pace is 1/2 to 2 lbs a

week. Slow and steady. Each time you lose weight the wrong way, it

makes it harder to lose weight the next time. Also, don't compare to

anybody else. Go at your own pace. Everyone's body reacts different. I

would be curious to see where she is a year or 2 from now. Ask yourself

this, would rather lose 25 lbs fast and gain it back or lose 25 lbs

slow and keep it off? Something to think about.

> about 245 at the beginning of Feb, sent me a letter telling me that

> she'd lost 34 lbs so far. Talk about a kick in the butt!***

Take care,

Gena
