Transplant this week!

I'm writing on behalf of my mom - Peggy McGovern of Billings,

Montana. After 16 years of suffering with PSC, she received a liver

transplant this week in Indianapolis. She had been listed in Denver

for about 6 years, but moved to her sister's house in Indiana because

she was moving so slowly on Denver's list. I think her MELD was a 19

when she got on the Indy list on May 26. She had the transplant on

June 27. The surgery was predicted to last 4-6 hours, and hers was

done in 2 hours! She's in pain, but everything looks good. We are

praising the Lord! Thank you for this valuable support group. She

has drawn a lot of encouragement from all of you over these many

years. She will probably post when she can get back on the computer.
