Guest guest
Hi Nahla, I'm still learning how to interpret these tests, but here is what I can see. I hope others will correct any mistakes. Maybe you can remind us of you history by answering these questions: 1.Current Symptoms and Health History: 2.Current Dental Work in place and dental cleanup completed: 3.Supplements and medications on at time of hair test: 4. Recently added supplements and medications after the hair test and date added: Mercury toxicity is possible at very low levels which you have. Mercury can cause retention of titanium which can become elevated even before a counting rule is met sometimes indicating some suspicion of mercury poisoning. It was difficult to count your test as it was hard to read, but I don't think you meet the counting rules Why don't you contact DDI and ask them to email it to you). I think you miss rule 4 by one with 12 in the middle zone and you would therefore have normal mineral transport. You have vastly elevated Titanium, which accurately reflects body burden in normal mineral transport. It can becomes elevated with mercury even before a counting rule is met sometimes. Indicated suspicion of mercury poisoning. You have very elevated Bismuth which reasonably reflects body burden in normal mineral transport. You can confirm this with blood test. Bismuth may cause neurological and hormone problems. Metabolic Ratio's Ca/Mg = Slightly Low - suggests possible glucose and carbohydrate intolerance. Ca/P:(0.08 - 8) 1.66 = Slightly fast metabolizer and usually makes a lot of Adrenaline (eat high fat diet and a lot of Vit D, need digestive enzymes) K/Ca - (0.03 - 0.35) 0.6 Thyroid issues. Test Thyroid hormones Na/Mg (1-5) 12.8 WAY too much adrenaline - If More than 5 is high and the body is making too much adrenaline leads to hyperactivity, anxiety, panic and immune function (avoid tyrosine and phenylalanine - need digestive enzyme) Very high potassium can also signify Thyroid issues, especially when the Ca/K ratio is out. 'Potassium and Sodium up, with Calcium and Magnesium down means the person's Adrenals are shot, making way to much adrenaline but not enough cortisol. This generally goes along with being thin, high strung, excitable but not very stress intolerant'. pg. 112 HTI and = Exercise worsens things if not lightly done. pg.114 HTI Elevated Sodium & Potassium can show under-active Thyroid. Adrenal sign is met with Calcium and Magnesium MUCH lower than Sodium and Potassium Low Manganese " This is most easily identified from is ringing in the ears - tinnitus - that improves on manganese supplementation. " Take 5 - 15mg per day 'Cutler'. Low dietary calcium, phosphorus and iron increase manganese absorption. pg. 120 HTI Phosphorus (P) If low suggests poor liver health, if high check for poor kidney health. Low Phosphorus can cause low energy, weakness, appetite loss, intolerance to fructose and fatigue. Increase protein. Overall it seems you have severely stressed adrenals, pumping out adrenaline, and also thyroid issues. Are you hyperthyroid? Where are you getting the titanium from? Do you have implants? Bismuth can be messing with your hormones and causing personality issues too. Dean
