Guest guest
Rogene, you are such a special lady. Please take care, because we would be lost without you. PEs are serious and you should be on blood thinners, but that is your choice. I am glad that your ear is getting better. My ears get plugged up, but it goes away. Sometimes, my ear rings and it is always my right ear. Honey, we would never adopt a child at this time in our lives, but I have given tons of love to many children. is afraid of children, after what happened with mine. I took care of mentally retarded children for years. They are such special little souls. When I went to university, that is what I studied, because I wanted to know why we have so many retarded children, it just broke my heart...we still do not have the answers. It seemed to me that many came from highly educated people, like doctors and nurses! I have so much to do today...love you....Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~````` Sending love and prayers to you....Lea and ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~``` Re: Goodmorning ~Happy New Year to you both with love: Lea, My ear is doing ever so much better . . . hardly a sign of trouble. However, I'll stay on antibiotic for the full course because I want to be done with ear problems once and for all! I did have small PE Tuesday night . . . ended up in the hospital yesterday . . I came home before the doctor would have wanted me to go - but the care there was so bad, I couldn't do any worse at home. The point of keeping me would be so they could give me one injection a day - that insurance won't pay for if one is not hospitalized. I understand what brought it on . . . too much sitting without moving about, and not enough water. . . Considering that I had to beg for water for six hours at the hospital, even after they knew it was a PE, and I would have been sitting in bed all the time, I'm far better off at home. .. Besides, within an hour after I left the hospital, we were square dancing! Much more fun! Hugs, Rogene

Guest guest
Thank you, honey. I am sorry that your mother is sick. This must be hard on you at this time, because you really need the support. What is wrong with your mother? My mind is so full of other things that I cannot remember. We are all here to help you, and when you become afraid, just come to this group, and we will comfort you. This morning we see the doctors, and I have to make a list of questions for them...B12 shot too. Guest guest
Hi Traci, Thanks! My date is Feb 27, and it could have been earlier, but it will take us that long to get the money together, and much longer after to pay it back. BUT, I am grateful my Bob has jumped right in to drum up the dough to do this, and can do this. I think it will be just in time, hopefully, to avoid worse issues than now. Guest guest
Lea- I think I told you when I first joined the group that my Mom has been having a lot of weird symptoms (aches in her feet, arthritis, etc.) and I thought they were related to her implants, but that she couldn't have them removed because her husband wouldn't let her. Since then, her and her husband have separated and are going through a divorce and custody battle over my 11 year old sister. It has gotten REALLY ugly. I talked to my older sister yesterday and she thinks my Mom may be addicted to pain killers (she's been taking them for migraines and aches and pains due to a few car accidents for years.) We're not sure if she needs to go to rehab or what the deal is, so my sister is going to stay with her this weekend and try to figure out what is going on with her and how far she is into the addiction. It is scary for me because I live across the country and can't be of much help due to my illness. So, please keep my family in your prayers too. Good luck with your doctor appointment this morning. We are all hoping you are feeling better real soon! Much Love, Krista > > > > Love you, Krista. Guest guest
Holy crap, Rogene, that's scary stuff! Is this something that happens often to implantees? I'm so very glad you had the stuff to take to help yourself. I agree that we are often much better off at home, where it is clean and peaceful, when we can be. Glad you are doing better, whew. And I won't forget your birthday, either! I won't be near a computer, but will sing you a b'day song that day! Love, Devon > > > > Rogene, you are such a special lady. Guest guest
Thank you, Lea! I am so grateful for all the helpful information on conditions and medicines and alternative diets and healing that I have found here. I hope to be able to be of some help as I go through this explant and " life after explant " , so I will try to give back some little bit of what everyone has given me through sharing. God directed me here for a reason, of that I am very convinced. I am ready to learn how to love my body, and I am ready to learn how to trust women again. That's a really big deal. But I have to give as well as receive, so will try as best as I can figure out how to.
Love, Devon > > > > Rogene, you are such a special lady. Guest guest
Devon, I don't believe my PE was implant related . . . I had deep vein thrombosis when I was only 17 and a number of minor clotting problems since then. I should have been watching my clotting time sinall along. I have what is termed "sticky blood". I'm certainly happy to be out of that hospital! . . . I can't wait to give them a piece of my mind! . . . They certainly aren't trained to do the "care" part of healthcare. I've been out square dancing since right after I got out of the hospital. I decided to take the shots (self-adminstered) that will keep my blood slippery until Coumadin has time to get my clotting factor to an acceptable goal. LOL! . . The doctor told me insurance wouldn't cover the shots if I left the hospital! WRONG! Reading through the precautions that come with the med convinced me that I'd rather be safe than sorry! The joys of getting old! . . . You wouldn't believe how many tests I've had this past year! . . . The PE was the only test that found anything! Thank God! . . Sometimes I think they are taking advantage of the Medicare system. . . They wouldn't do that would they? I hope you're getting ready for your surgery by addressing fungal issues and eating really, really healthy! You might even feel better BEFORE surgery! Guest guest
I'm sorry to hear of the thrombosis. I'm relieved that it's not implant-related only because it seems that everything that IS implant-related is such a bugger to get rid of! I am glad you know how to take care of yourself. I have said before I don't trust doctors, and I still don't. I know I should have a bunch of tests done, but I have a gut feeling not to, and I'm going with it. May be my stubbon stupidity, I don't know, but it just doesn't " feel " right. I'm massively impressed that you can give yourself shots - wow. I think I might be able to if it meant staying out of one of those horrors known as a hospital! The big hospital in the nearest " city " has been found to have had corrupt ceo's, and now staph infection is rampant - NOT where I want to be. I keep telling my husband if I ever require immediate assistance, I'd better wake up anywhere but there! I am trying to eat better, but I have to admit, it's a slow road. I bought some of the Mineral Whey and some of the stuff to make kefir form the Wilderness Family Naturals and will be getting some organic milk today to make it with. We have upped the vegetable eating, too. I have to go at it slowly, or I feel really sick and fall off the wagon. So far, so good. I'm getting headaches, which to me points out that stuff is coming out of my tissues, but I need to control it so I'm not totally debilitated! Guest guest
Devon, It sounds like you're on track . . . It's really, really stressful to abruptly change everything at one time. . . Making changes gradually can help you incorporate new things into your life style in a manner that makes it easier to continue. It's one step, one day at a time! . . . You didn't get sick overnight . . . Your body needs time to do its repair work. BTW, the shots are easy . . . less painful than pinching yourself! Much less painful than being in a hospital bed for days! . . ly, I felt like they wanted more patients who needed minimal care! Hugs and prayers, Rogene
