Guest guest
The Easter Seals eval was today. I really like this lady. She is nice and friendly and seems very competent. So the summary is Kiersten is doing just fine - whew. This is kind of what I thought but I was still worried from the last eval. Turns out they used the 3 month and the 6 month eval on her at 4 1/2 months. So she was above one and below one - duh. Anyway now that we are approved she can still come in a preventative mode to ensure Kiersten meets her milestones. Yeah. So we will work on rolling, preparing to crawl, then crawling and standing, etc. Her fine motor and speech seem fine and that's what she was referred for, oh well I'll take it. We discussed her gagging and projectile vomitting. She thinks it may be related to the tort. She said quite a few of her tort kids have speech, mouth, swallowing type issues. So she is going to do some brushing therapy with her mouth. I'm going to get a baby toothbrush this weekend. I also asked about her about na not saying her name. She said she should start saying ehr name in the next 6-8 weeks and if she were around during Kiersten's sessions she would work with her. However, Kiersten's sessions are usually going to be while na is at school. na, 2 1/2 yrs, DOC Grad Feb 04, Tort Resolved Kiersten, 7 1/2 months, DOC 1/10/06, Tort www.thefilyaws.com
