I had a few problems with my BP during the session it dropped a few times and I thought I was gonna pass out but we figured that I had hit my dry weight and finished early. I start at the dialysis center tomorrow and I am ready. Well I just got out today and I am feeling drained from my hectic day. Thank you, guys ya'll have helped me so much. BRANDY NOTE FROM BRANDY'S MOM: I just want to thank all of ya'll for the unwavering support that you've given to . I understand that you've all been through your own stuff, & your thoughts & prayers sustained her through her hospital stay. I was able to be with her for her 1st four dialysis treatments & I was so relieved @ how well she has done. She looks great! Better than she has in a long time. I was reminded of one very important thing - never lose your sense of humor!!! was incredible through everything & kept everyone laughing. She talks about this group a lot & how much it means to her sanity. Thank you again. Love, Sue ('s Mom) pegairheart@... Guest guest
I sure am glad to hear your first treatment went well, . If you don't have suitable veins for a fistula anywhere (which would surprise me, as I know many very old, frail seniors who have a successful fistula), I imagine the next best solution will be a gortex graft, which is similar to a fistula, except it uses an artificial vein instead of a real one.
